I never played a Final Fantasy game, but when I heard Gold Saucer, this is what it sounded like to me. I thought the title was a play on "silver spoon" to denote someone born into nobility.

Moli Ihnko is one of the seven ruling representatives of Randall VIllage. Her family leases several properties in town, including the garden, the bathhouse, and parts of the market district. Her combined aggressive negotiation style and off-the-cuff manner of speech make her stand out among her peers. Moli is known for butting into conflict in order to keep the peace, but also in pursuit of a "thrill-seeking lifestyle". As one of the village's most accomplished hunters and loudest advocates, she is a feared figure in Randall politics. Her family, however, seems to want little to do with her...
Fielle is employed as the Randall Village librarian. She mainly keeps to herself, assisting the Cultural Outreach Committee with translation of Meire books into the language of commoners. She stands out in the village, even when placed next to the other refugees. She doesn't seem uncomfortable out in the open in spite of this, suggesting it may be something she is used to. When Diala brings Aurelia to the library, Fielle will often tutor the young girl in her spare time. Fielle is soft-spoken, resourceful, and private; if she actually has any hobbies, certainly, no one in town knows what they are.

But while they are generally well-liked, people's voices lower and eyes turn away in their presence now that their feud with the Oodses grows tenser.
Once a week, the Shufflin' Troll Bros.' WONDER*MART appears in the village. The proprietors of this shady shack on wheels are a pair of suspicious looking salesmen who don't look like anyone else around. Getting involved with them is probably a great way to be ripped off, but then again, if there are any clues about the outside world, perhaps you can find them at WONDER*MART...

Sometimes, an elven girl appears in the village to play with the other children. She is never accompanied by an adult, and those around seem not to see her. Why, then, does a stranger like you?
